In her college counseling work with high school students, our school counselor Allie Fair Keel aims to foster self-knowledge by providing a space for students in New York to explore their values, interests, and strengths that will serve as a framework for navigating all aspects of their educational and career planning process. Through this work, students are better equipped to create meaningful goals and make informed decisions about their future as they search, select, apply, and transition to college. Allie Fair provides students and their families with informed, personalized guidance through the college application process with an unwavering commitment to equitable college access for the entire community, empowering all students to higher education attainment including those confronted with situational, systemic, and historic barriers to opportunity due to their race, socio-economic status, citizenship status, disability, and other factors.
