Ashley Kudler, MHC-LP

Ashley is a pre-licensed psychotherapist and healer passionate about treating psychological, spiritual, and relationship challenges through self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and recognition of the healing power we each inherently hold inside of us. With a deep desire to offer more for her patients, Ashley is committed to developing a united philosophy of spiritual, mental, and physical health that equips individuals with the tools necessary to heal themselves and break free from cycles of trauma.

Ashley holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the State University of New York at New Paltz and is certified in SCORM Safety Planning, CPT Foundational Skills, CITI Social/Behavioral Research, and DBT Essential Skills Training. Her experience also includes working extensively with the Autism spectrum population, particularly through the SustainAbility Farming project during her graduate school years. This project was entirely devoted to integrating healing and understanding by connecting individuals on the spectrum with the earth, fostering a unique bond that promotes growth and self-awareness.

Ashley’s therapeutic approach integrates these foundational skills with Humanistic therapy, mindfulness practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and person-centered psychotherapy, ensuring a comprehensive and compassionate experience for her clients. She is particularly interested in exploring the intersection between psychotherapy and metaphysical practices, believing that this holistic approach can empower individuals to create the lives they desire.

As an active member and volunteer for the Zendo Project, a psychedelic peer support group providing professional harm reduction services, Ashley brings a unique perspective to her work. She also served as a spiritual facilitator at Burning Man 2023 and 2024, where she hosted transcendental meditation and healing circles, led the Consent Team, and mediated disputes.

In her practice, Ashley emphasizes the importance of wonder, humor, and joy—qualities she cultivated while running and administering her own Montessori School day camp program for many years. She strives to bring these essential elements back to the forefront of her clients’ lives. Ashley respects and honors people of all lineages and Indigenous groups, creating a safe, anti-oppressive, and identity-affirming environment where every individual feels supported, valued, and treated with unconditional positive regard.

Outside of her professional work, Ashley is a writer, reader, meditator, and lover of wilderness. She finds herself in constant awe of both the human and the more-than-human world, continually drawing inspiration from these connections. Her commitment to personal growth and exploration is mirrored in her ongoing professional development, as she continues to expand her holistic toolkit with the aim of empowering her clients to become the best versions of themselves.
