Amber Adams, MHC-LP, RYT

Amber's approach is distinguished by her spiritual lens on the world, addressing concerns of the mind, body, and spirit. Acceptance forms the cornerstone of her work, guiding clients to confront the realities of their human experience while empowering them to manifest their desires.

Amber possesses a unique ability to alchemize hardship, guiding others to find the gold in difficult places and emerge with power and authenticity. Rooted in humanistic principles, she employs trauma-informed care, parts work, yoga therapy, and embodied practices like breath-work and visualization in her sessions.

Amber offers guidance in becoming mindful, assisting clients in recognizing their observer selves and replacing old patterns with skillful responses. Through exploration of emotions and nurturing, she fosters a slow training of the mind to become one's best friend, promoting flexibility and creativity in meeting one's own needs.

Specializing in chronic conditions and couples therapy, Amber utilizes Harville Hendrix's Imago Therapy and brings expertise in facilitating play therapy with children and their parents.

With a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and certification as a Yoga Teacher, Amber's multidisciplinary approach is enriched by her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. Since 2012, she has been teaching community yoga classes and yoga therapy, drawing from her training at the Raja-Hatha School of Yoga and her studies of the Bhagavad Gita and bhakti yoga under Mark (Madan Mohan) Oppenheimer.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Amber is a writer, artist, dancer, gardener, nature lover, wife, and mother, embodying the holistic principles she imparts in her counseling practice.
