Ajamu Ayinde
Ajamu Ayinde, A.C.H. is a Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Master Mental Coach, Transpersonal Hypnosis Trainer and Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. He holds multiple certifications in Sports Hypnosis and Performance Enhancement and multiple certifications in Hypnotic Childbirth.
He specializes in performance enhancement and hypnotic childbirth preparation. Ajamu created the M.E.N.T.A.L. Games™ system based on his sports psychology research, clinical experience, and background as a martial artist and professional dancer. He has certified MG practitioners in the U.S., Canada, and England.
Ajamu holds a B.A. in Asian Studies from Trinity College (CT) with a concentration in Multicultural Education and Performing Arts. While in college, Ajamu completed a one-year independent study with a Korean shaman, and his senior thesis was titled, “The Role of Spirituality in Japanese Performing Arts.” Ajamu works virtually and has helped clients in thirty states and twelve countries. Ajamu has been a Coach since 1995 and received the 2004 IACT Therapist of the Year award for his work with Breast Cancer Survivors.
In 2012, he received the Outstanding Transpersonal Contribution award from the National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists (NATH) for his work in helping his clients combine sports and spirituality. In 2017, the NATH awarded him the Most Unique Contribution award for providing in-home hypnotherapy to pregnant couples. He has lectured on hypnosis at high schools, colleges, hospitals, the Dutchess County Dental Society, Morehouse School of Medicine, and hypnosis conferences across the U.S.
